It has been such a difficult time over the last few months and I wish to first start by offering my support to all those bereaved by this terrible disease and thanking the key workers for keeping us all safe, especially against such pressures.
In the present time many of us who are self isolating are reviewing and rethinking our futures. This terrible pandemic has in tandem given us a lot of time in the house and a reminder of what is truly important, which for many is family and friends. Have you previously considered applying for adoption and decided it wasn’t the right time?
Well there could not be a better time than right now!
With the current state of self isolation, economic pressures and in some cases family bereavements, when some measure of normal life resumes there will be more children in urgent need of stable and loving adoptive families.
As a result I hope that your previous idea that you might adopt will crystallise into your deliberate action now. I am sure you have so much to offer!
Adoption means the changing of a child’s life for the better, giving them security and building their confidence, emotional and physical health.
At Diversity Adopt we have put together a guide to help you choose which agency is the best for you and your family.
